CornerStone Telephone Company Named Approved Vendor for New York State

Troy, New York (October 14, 2009)--CornerStone Telephone Company, an integrated telecommunications provider, announced today that they have been named an approved vendor for the State of New York.

The contract will run through 2017, with the option for renewal prior to the expiration.

Mike Kirchner, General Manager of CornerStone’s Western Massachusetts offices in Richmond and Pittsfield, helped guide the team through the six-month application process leading up to the contract award.

This allows us to continue to grow our business throughout New York State, furthering the strategic goals of the company,”  said Kirchner, a new member to the CornerStone team through their acquisition of Richmond Networx & Richmond Telephone Company in March.

 

CornerStone Telephone’s affiliate corporation, Distributed Applications Technologies, had previously been awarded a contract to sell data products within state agencies.

 

The two contracts will allow CornerStone Telephone to provide telecommunications services to all New York State agencies and their affiliates.
